Retiring to wellington

My mum is coming to live in Wellington next year to be with her grandkids. She's 60 and will be living off a basic UK pension. Does anyone know of other people who have recently done this? Any good websites or advice on getting her UK pension paid into a NZ bank account each month? What are the costs involved in transferring money each month? would it be better for her to transfer her pension over here?
Any good advice on good private health care too?
cheers!

There are companies that specialise in transferring UK pensions to Nz. Do research and make sure you do any dealings through reputable companies only, that know what theyre doing. Getting it wrong could land you with a huge tax bill and penalty charges, you need to transfer any pension monies into approved schemes only in NZ.
