Hi

We arrived into Wellington on Wed, saw 4 schools on Thurs and are now trying to find a rental, preferably in Waikanae (Kapanui zone only) or failing that Raumati Beach or Paraparaumu Beach zone.

It was very frustrating today, with nothing available in the right zones from any agent so if anyone knows of any 3 bed rentals available ASAP so that the kids can start school after the holidays I would be eternally grateful.

No luck with the Agents - too much demand not enough houses scenario, but we'll keep trying.

The people who we have met have been really kind in offering to help us out as much as they can, even including the salesman at the Toyota garage in Paraparaumu today who knew of a short term holiday let. Everyone we've met seems really helpful. They could teach the immigration officers at LA airport a thing or 2.....
