Refusal or Acceptance, Insulin dependent diabetic?
I thought I'd better ask this very basic question before proceeding any further.
As I'm an insulin dependent diabetic on 5 injections per day, how do I answer the "health" bit on the EOI? Apart from the diabetes, I am in good health and suffer no long term complications.

I would say Immigration will be looking at how much your condition will cost them. It may also depend on what skills you have. If you are on the absolute skills shortage its worth ago but expect it to be a long process. They will want loads of info. Good Luck

How do you get hold of the recommended list of GPs, or alternatively, can anyone offer a name of one they've used? If it's not possible via the forum, please P.M. me.
It's not looking so good is it, so I feel a bit depleted by your answers. How I wish we'd done this years ago!!

Have a look on [URL="http://www.immigration.gov.nz"] for list of panel doctors. My husband is also insulin dependant and we are thinking about moving to NZ also. His job is on skills shortage list. Have tried to find info on immigration web site but nothing listed. Let me know how you get on xx
