I used an education specialist recruiter and form the agents really helpful. They lined up interviews, third time lucky I got a job and am teaching in Albany.

I tried several recruiters when I was trying to get in to Canada, but found them slow and unhelpful. I guess you need to have a skill in demand by the recruiter. After all, they are only interested in taking a cut of what you can earn them.
