Please post in this thread if you'd like to meet up at the beach house that hubby and I (and littl'un) are renting over the Easter weekend on Raumati Beach.

Plan is to have everyone bring something - we're only there for 4 nights - and have an Easter egg hunt for the kids that come, on the beach.

Please also make sure that if you're coming, I have your mobile phone number, or home phone number. We're going to rent a mobile phone at Auckland airport. Also, if you're coming, I'll PM you a link to the house where we're staying. There's a link to a map of where it is on the page I'll send.

Please say in this thread how many people - adults and children - will be coming so we can all try to plan how much of everything we'll need.

That's OK, we probably wouldn't know what to do with summer anyway, it would be too much of a change! Two days ago we had 22C/72F... tonight we are expecting snow.

definitely me and 3 kids. Not sure if Danny is off so I'll let you know once he has his off duty. Also my friend from home may arrive on that day as she is now spending a couple of days in Auckland when she first gets here so she may be with me. Sorry to be a pest but will confirm as soon as I know what time of he day are we looking at? We're really looking forward to it
How do you want to organise the "bring a plate?" I'm happy to bring anything and Boopy makes a gorgeous cous cous, Poppets is queen of puddings. Anyway, let us know see you soon x

Hey, I got a great recipe given the other day for some looovely caramel and nut slices so will have a practice at those and if successful, will bring them on the day and anything else you need.

We would simply love to come, there will be Dirk and I, + 2 children (girl 1 year old and boy 14 yr old)
