Default Rangiora - opinions on schools

After some consideration we´ve decided on Rangiora for our first port of call in Canterbury. Have pulled out the reports, decile ratings etc.. but would appreciate any feedback from people living in the town with kids (ours are 6 and 11), particularly in the following schools: Ashgrove, Rangiora Borough, Southbrook. Also if we plump for Rangiora long term can we get into (non-fee paying) high schools other than Rangiora High. Thanks in advance!

Lots of Kids from Rangiora get bused to Kaiapoi High but it's all personal choice. My son will be going to Rangiora High, sorry can't help with the other schools.

Following months of research, ours are going to Rangiora High. We've been swapping e-mails quite a lot with the international students director, Sue Anderson, who's been really helpful. Not sure if I can put her e-mail address on a post but PM me if you'd like it.
