Quick question about prescriptions..
OK, so I got a script from the gp a couple of months ago. The original one only lasted 3 months so I could see how I went on those meds as it was a change from what I was on in the UK.
But, she said I could get a repeat if it was ok as long as I go to the same pharmacy where I got the script filled and she wrote something about 'further 3 months on repeat' on the script itself.
So, now my original supply has ran out do I just go to the pharmacy and ask for the repeat? I know gp's can write repeat scripts for up to 6 months worth of meds so Im guessing I dont need to go through her again but not sure if I can just turn up at the pharmacy and ask them for the remaining 3 months supply?
Any ideas?

Re: Quick question about prescriptions..
When you get the first prescription the pharmacy usually gives you a receipt thing, which states what you were prescribed and how many further repeats you can have.
Sounds like that's what they gave you so just take it back to the same pharmacy and they should issue the next batch.

Hi Lisa, just give pharmacy a phone call. They'll have a computerised record of what has been issued.
