Quake
Don't know bout you guys but to be that felt stronger than a 5.8 in Welly. One of those when you think maybe I should get out of bed, then it comes back and you do get out of bed in a hurry.
Centered further north than here, hope everyones not too shaken.
Had a look at this website and we seem to have been getting them every few days around NZ.

Re: Quake
5.8 129km deep, near Tokoroa.
Felt it here in Marlborough, although I was the only one to notice, went on for about 10 secs.
Pretty much everyone on the North Island might have felt it.

Yup .We felt it here. It was a long one. Very rattly & shaky. Enough to leg it out of bed and get downstairs to the porch doorframe & wait......

Re: Quake
Nothing to be felt here on the Shore.
Mind you my room was probably still slightly spinning from the ridiculous amount of gin I consumed last night so I may not have noticed any additional rumblings!
