PSS Removals / NZ Van Lines
Hi
We used PSS / NZ Van Lines to move 1 x Container from UK > Wellington.
We took delivery of our items a few weeks ago after having them in storage for about a month here. Unfortunately there were several broken/damaged items. We are now going through the insurance claim etc.
As LV Martin says :"Its the putting right that counts" (Those of you in UK who do not know LV Martin will soon become aware of this "Kiwi Institution" on your arrival here! - They are a well known retailer).
Anyway... I will reserve my judgement/comments about PSS / NZ van lines service untill my claim is dealt with. It is only when something goes wrong (which unfortunately does happen sometimes) that you find out who the GOOD companies are.
Cheers

We had about 6 items: golf trolly,Kids bikes, tool box, christmas tree(artificial) and cant remember the others.... that needed closer inspection etc

That's good, sounds about right for the actual work which was done. It just goes to show that these companies are capable of passing on the real MAF charges, without adding a massive mark up.

Can i just ask who you did your insurance with? We are using PSS but haven't sorted any insurance out yet....
I hope i receive all my possessions the same way i packed them!

Re: PSS Removals / NZ Van Lines
we used PSS / NZ Vanlines - took out PSS insurance as part of the whole package.
NZ Vanlines had our stuff for about 1 month
no MAF charges and we had similar stuff - golf clubs, kids bike, xmas decorations etc.
our dining room table got damaged - emailed insurance to let them know, immediate reply advising that form would follow - all straight forward, settled within about 3 weeks - had claimed for table and chairs, they've settled with insured cost of table and to be fair we can get it repaired.
would recommend (although we've still got a garage full of boxes to be collected)
