Hi all
We have PSS coming tomorrow to do the biz. we are hoping to get our plane ticket at the week end. I'll let you know what they are like, how professional, efficient etc so you can store it in your memory banks for later. It's all getting bloody scary now :scared: !!! Anyone else heading for Hawkes Bay??
Cheers

Where abouts in Hawke's Bay and what made you decide on PSS?

We used PSS and couldn't fault them - they were quick to respond to our request for quotes, very professional and straight forward, at the time of packing the 2 guys we had worked like trojans on two of the hottest days - they also saved us the best part of £1500 - we thought we were gonna have to pay for groupage but they managed to get it all into the 1 container - the service at the NZ end through NZ Vanlines was excellent - no MAF interest, delivered as requested and were done in 1/2 a day (although we did muck in too!) only 1 breakage and that was settled easily and quickly and according to our valuation on the insurance form.
Would not hesitate in recommending them.
Good luck with your move - it all becomes a bit surreal when you see all of your belongings packed up!!!!!

Thanks both, that's very encouraging 'Joshlin'. It really came down to value for money, they were around 1k cheaper than Crown on the moving price but 1.5k cheaper on the insurance quote, we tried to be fair and measure 'like for like' but which ever way we did it PSS gave better value, But would they do the biz?, you have made me feel much better TA!
We chose Hawkes Bay initially almost by the scientific 'pin in the map method' but now have a job at HB hospital, Napier look good and have managed to get Megan (13) in to a decent school so........we're off next week hopefully subject to getting reasonable flights.
once again cheers both

Hawkes Bay certainly is a lovely area, we liked it so much a few weeks ago that we're off down there again soon. Wine festival time

PSS seem to have a good reputation for providing an excellent service, not heard too many bad things either about their service or the quality of their packing. Good luck with the move.

Hi Livewire
it's our hope to be there for the 'wine fest' and to take full advantage of their hospitality........................well, it would be rude not to. wouldn't it !!
