Prospect of Howick
Is this still the main drinking establishment in Howick area?
Or have things changed to new sports bars

The Prospect has just undergone a makeover and is now called The Good Home. I'm not sure if they still use the Prospect name too. The Good Home, along with The Basalt and The Corner are all popular. The Corner is smaller and has gotten very popular. You can't go wrong with any of them.

Arrive in Auckland at the of August. Job is in South Auckland so hoping to rent a place in the eastern suberbs for the wife and 2 young kids - what is that area like for stuff to do, parks etc?
