proof of relationship. aarrrgghhh
we have lived together for 6 years now but,,,, he pays all the bills all in his name, i get the food shop and anything little one needs thats how weve always worked it , at time of mortgage i was self employed for under a year so couldnt go on it. we have no joint anything at all apart from a credit card we both have in his name, so how do we prove we live to gether im crap at keeping mail so all i have is odd bits and pieces dating vack about 2 years, we do have joint invitations to things like weddings etc that i have kept just cause i like the invite. we have all old photos of us on holidays cams first day ay school etc,, will this be enough for immi purposes? i was thinking maybe i could get contact sheets from cams school, doctors, childminder etc as they are all dated with us all the same address etc. but i dont have anything official. please help as i dont know what else we can use.

We had to do the same, we used car insurance documents, holiday booking conformations, holiday insurance, we sent polling cards that proved we were at the same address. If i can think of anything else i will let you know. i dont think you have to go too mad. Good Luck, steph

Do you have council tax letters with both your names? The new ones for the next financial year should be arriving soon! Fingers crossed for you

I used photos that were quite obviously taken many years apart - hairstyles are a dead giveaway 
All the other things you've got are good. Does 'little one' mean your child? Is he/she your partner's child? (sorry, not being nosey but if he's the Dad I'd assume the birth cert would almost be enough on it's own). Good luck.

We are in the same situation lived together for years but everything in my name! We spoke to immigration office mississauga Canada. Send pictures and anything you have with both names on over a year! You will be fine. We dont have anything with both names on together so we both sent seperate bank statements. Both have the same address on so bascillay shows we have been living together over a year in the same property!

we got our friends, neighbours and family to write statements confirming we are a couple, have lived together so many years, have been invited to our BBQs or vice versa - we produced about 16 statements.

than for all the great info no hes not his bio father but he is on all scholl and medical records as contact etc... also i noticed on our photos which date back years they have the place and time when developed so surely that would be okay too i hope.

I have known T for approximately 15 years. I first met her when a mutual friend, L, had a birthday party in Nottingham in August 1992 and we both attended. Later that evening, both L and I stayed at T's house for the night, as I lived in Chester at that time.
After that, any weekend spent in Nottingham would always mean a stay at T's house and we formed a good friendship, despite the distance between Nottingham and Chester and then when I moved to London. Whenever anyone in our social circle had a birthday, it was always held in Nottingham, so I saw T about four or five times a year. We maintained close telephone and text contact too, so much so, that T's telephone number was one of my Friends & Family contacts for cheaper calls via British Telecom.
When I became pregnant with my first son in June 1998, my husband also had an accident which broke his knee, so I wasn’t able to attend any social functions during this time. However, T came to visit me in London and was a Witness at my wedding in September 1998.
T and I retained our telephone contact whilst I was unable to socialise, so I was aware that she had met M at the end of 1998 and then subsequently moved in with him some months later in the new year of 1999.
I first met M during my son’s naming ceremony in London in June 1999, when T invited him to attend with her.
Further to that, M is always in attendance when T and our friends come together for one of our many birthday celebrations. M has always been extremely welcoming of people staying overnight when we travel to Nottingham.
I have always found T and M to have an enviously solid relationship. They have this little brupping noise that they make to each other that T's late cat, Squirrel, used to make. I know that they are excited about starting a new life together in Australia and that this experience will bring them closer than ever.
I make this solemn declaration by virtue of the Statutory Declarations Act 1959 as amended and subject to the penalties provided by that Act for the making of false statements in statutory declarations, conscientiously believing the statement contained in this declaration to be true in every particular.

from the sounds of it you have a lot of bits and pieces and if you put it all together nicely you should be ok

We sent in Child Tax Credits letters that had same address on. You could even call up your Gas/Electric and get them to put both names on and send it out to you.

I got an extension for hubby's visitors permit, and the thing the officer looked at the most was the photos. She skimmed over the birth cert of our daughter and our marriage cert, but oohed and aahed over our photos.
