My OH is going for a recce to Auckland beginning of October and is looking for an
affordable accomodation in Auckland which doesn't blow our budget and is in good reach of public transport to the CBD area.

Any ideas or even offers?

NZ hotels/motels are pretty cheap you know..this is a 4 star in CBD www.rydges.com.
Search for Motels or Top 10 for cheaper options.

Thank you but we are looking for a private homestay.
Like a student or lodger living in a family surrounding sort of thing.
In a 10 mile radius around CBD Auckland.
