Hi, my friend is looking for a private boys school (for boarders) in Auckland. If possible with particular emphasis on music/arts. Any recommendations? Thank you.

Hi

Saint Kentigern College is a private school which has boarding too called Bruce House and now take girl boarders.They have a good music dept have a look on the website and they currently have open days to view the school.
They usually put on middle school productions as well as senior, house music competition wearable arts etc.

There is also Kings College

Most of those aren't private I think, shouldn't Auckland Boys Grammar be on there or has that dropped substantially? (or is it a political statement by Metro)

Edit - so after further research that list is merely one reporters opinion, and has left off the best boys schools that achieve the best academic results - Kins College, Macleans and Auckland Boys Grammar.

didn't look to deeply into it, just thought it was something the the OP could use as a tool to research some of the schools listed.
It wasn't meant to mislead anyone, next time I'll not bother.
