Primary Teaching
Hello just wanted to ask.
Does anyone know if jobs for Primary Teachers are readily available? Ive been teaching 10years and now in an British International school in Europe. But our dream has been to get to NZ or Aus. So Europe was a stepping stone to see if we can give up the UK! A big YES!! :) Or is it hard to find work in Teaching? We would prefer small town than big city. What sort of pay do teachers get? Any input appreciated. Britzy |

Re: Primary Teaching
Degree + PGCE + your experience (if full time) would put you on $60k.
Jobs in the primary sector are easy to come by in Auckland, much trickier elsewhere. A lot of people in the provinces spend some time relief teaching in order to get their faces known. Working practices & conditions are pretty similar to the UK, post numeracy strategy. PM me if you want any specifics. |
