Premier League Football
So the premier league tv viewing has changed
I seriously hope this means the NZ government won't attempt to ban certain websites. There's a website I use to stream Wednesday matches which also has premiership matches. I won't be happy if that gets blocked
I doubt it'll take off. Watching on the internet can be frustrating to say the least. What with page pop ups with loud volumes, freezing data, oh and GB charges
A bit gutted its gone from sky. I used to enjoy watching games other than the usual top 4.

I'm pretty happy about the new service - assuming it will deliver good quality streaming on standard broadband bandwidth. There's no reason it shouldn't be able to.

It means you can watch whatever match you want - and I'll be able to watch my team, every match, live - not just whatever match Sky decide to broadcast. Plus freeview tv (NZTV) have a weekly live game plus highlights show.
I can understand some people being a bit pee'd off about this - existing Sky subscribers who are going to have to fork out to watch a service they thought they already had, and people without broadband service, but I am surprised at the general negative reaction to this news. I think it sounds great.
