What sort of temps can you expect during the summer as a chap i was speaking to when we was in Parnell at the beginning of january, did say that whatever the forecast is add 5 degrees, and as we left in early jan we didnt get to experience a nz summer.

Hello!
It would be great to catch up with everyone. It's been a busy few months and not done much socialising recently! All being well we'll all pop down to the lake front for the picnic. Perfect! Just what we need after Christmas!
Thanks Lisa

Re: Post Xmas Rotorua meet
Ok there may be a small problem with the date. Just discovered that this - http://www.rotoruanz.com/events/2011.../lakeside-2011 - is on the same day. That pretty much means, from what I've been told, the lake front/village green area will be out of bounds for the Saturday as it'll be being set up for the evening concert.
So, shall we change it to Sunday 23rd? I'm assuming the lake front area will be cleared by Sunday afternoon but if any of the other locals know different then let me know.

Was thinking if we all aim to meet around the wee coffee 'huts/kiosks' next to the playground area so we're all heading for the same place?
I'm a bit dubious about the weather mind you, forecast is for heavy rain, lets all cross our fingers and hope they're wrong
