Please don't be alarmed - as long as you go into it with your eyes open and be prepared for the differences in culture - it is not England in the sun, then you can make a great life for yourself. I lived in Auckland for 4 years and even though it is 10 years later we are still regretting coming home.

And if you get there and don't like it...well at least you had a go and tried!

I have been here 5 months, they say you can't beat a good day in Wellington...very true, but the wind can be vicious! All in all I am happy, I can't say I miss much in the U.K. maybe some friends and Danish bacon. I'm not planning on going back, except for a visit..some years from now!
