Hi there,
Does anyone know where to buy a good pork pie. I have tried the ones from the local farmers market and they don't quite meet the mark. Supermarkets around here don't stock them and if you ask they try to sell you a sausage roll.
Please can some one help, as it is a long way to melton mowbray to fetch a dickinson and morris pie.

MMMmmm I used to work in Leicester and regularly had an afternoon blast on motorcycle to Melton... my favourite was from "Ye Old Porke Pie Shoppe" and it was a pork pie with stilton top...
..heart attack and three day calorie limit in a single meal... but god its worth it!

As we have all now ascertained that pork pies are readily available in New Zealand & this thread seems to attract those that would only join our cosy forum to advertise their business, ( June excepted) I'm closing this thread.
