Wink plumbing quals

Hello there

We have filled in our EOI and have just come across a small query!

Hubby is a self employed plumber/heating engineer, not qualified according to PGDB, which is ok, (sort of ) but he has over 6 yrs experience in this field, and on the Skilled migrant category points system they are asking for yrs of experience, does he still put 6 yrs or more even though he is not qualified????

the question reads as follows;

Additional bonus points for work experience in an area of absolute skills shortage.

2 to 5 yrs = 10 pts
6 yrs or more = 15 pts

does it make sense??

any help would be appreciated

No, he can't. Sorry Crumpy10. It isn't a pick and mix thing. Those bonus points needs to match the skill he is applying under.
Would be lovely to say yes.

OH was in the RAF for 13 yrs, and his quals are the ones we are using to get in (hopefully) , he has a city & guilds part 3 in
Aeronautical Engineering Craft studies.

plus a btec in national cert in egineering.
He is the principal applicant & he is applying with the above. Unfortunately this occupation doesn't appear to be on the shortages lists.
