Default Places to stay in Auckland

Hi

Can anyone suggest nice hotel in Auckland for five nights early October? Two adults and a 5 year old.

We will also be looking to buy a car - any suggestions where to buy from?

Many thanks

The last time I stayed in Auckland, I secured a room via the deals at the airport tourist office when I landed - but then I was on my own so didn't really care. Ended up at the Mercure, bottom end of Queen Street which was fine. Depends really where about in Auckland you want to be based.

As for buying a car - go to Turners Auctions in Penrose.

Hi

We stayed at the Quest on Nelson fully serviced apartment it was 5 mins from queens street. It was a great base and reasonable rates. We were overlooking the harbour and the sky tower
