Pet Insurance
 

We have had pet insurance for our 3 dogs in the UK before we emigrated. Now looking at the cost of vet fees again. Has anyone felt it necessary to take out Pet Insurance, any good experiences with companies, any to avoid etc.

We are based in Whitford near Auckland if that is helpful.

not taken out insurance but wish we had. Vets fees are very expensive here and don't forget if they have to come to you, you pay from when they leave and the k's taken to come to you.

Like I said, expensive.

I have our cat insured with Pet Insure. Never made a claim though so can't really say what they are like

I have my 2 cats insured with Ellenco, cheap and pay out quick.
