Perm Job(work visa)
Hi
I have a work to residency visa and am on a FTC with work. There is a perm job going but they have told me that as I am on a work visa by LAW they are not allowed to give me a perm job. I looked on the immigration website but have not found any useful info.
Does anyone know if this is true

If they offer you the perm position they you can apply for your ITA as long as it is on the skills list. Speak to your local immigration office as they would be able to advise you in the first instance with the best way forward. Thing is you don't want someone else getting the permanent position as your 2 year visa upgrade on the WTR visa depends on you having a job
