Pegasus
Hi there, anyone living or lived in Pegasus, Canterbury? Trying to find out what it’s like as I have only passed by it.

Re: Pegasus
I used to work on it, ranges from awesome on a great day to competing with Wellington for wind conditions on bad days, it's a bit exposed. Looks great having school on your doorstep and when the shops which have hopefully opened up now, and transport I think is half decent. If I could work from home it looked good, I hear the commute to chch is particularly bad. It's all designed around the lake, and it's gone a bit manky! https://www.waimakariri.govt.nz/your...r-pegasus-lake

I live next to Pegasus. Nice place, lake is lovely, has a few more shops and a pub there now. Forest, beach and wetlands on your doorstep too. Does get bloody windy though, I've left my house and there's been a little breeze, got to Pegasus about 5 minutes drive and it was blowing a gale! Drive in, have a look around, the residents don't bite.... much!

Thanks everyone. Didn't realise it was so windy there. I think there's a new site/suburb on the go nearby, maybe that wouldn't be so windy Anyone know anything about that think it's called Ravenswood?

Re: Pegasus
It's just another typical subdivision.
will have lots of houses that look the same and no amenities.
