PCV driving in New Zealand (UK licence)
Hi all
I am wondering if anyone has experience of converting their UK D (PCV) licence to the New Zealand equivalent, along with gaining the Passenger endorsement required for driving large passenger vehicles?
My research so far has concluded that the licence may be converted to the equivalent NZ coach licence, however to obtain the Passenger endorsement I have found the following From the NZTA website:
To get a P endorsement, you must hold, and have held for at least two years, a full New Zealand Class 1 driver licence. Holding an equivalent overseas licence will not meet this requirement.
Does anyone know if any excemption for this i.e proof of years of experience driving coaches throughout Europe?
Thanks for any information!
