Anyone relocated here?

Looking for beach house for fishing, golf and general chilling out.

Would like to know:
- How much effort the managing corporation puts into the upkeep of the facilities (marina and lagoons).
- How busy is the airport in terms of storage facilities for 8 seater Cessna
- Many expats in the area

Where is Pauanui ? Would an uninhabited island in Hawaii or Fiji not suit you better ? Maybe not, even merchant bankers need infrastructure sometimes, just like the rest of us.

OK, it's at the base of the Coromandel Peninsular. Population, about 750 people. Maybe you could build your own hangar with V.I.P. facilities.

You don't know Pauanui then?. Its always been fly in fly out resort. But the canal was built since I was last there in the 80's.

Looks like neither of us do. If it's fly in, fly out why don't you fly there for a cocktail party. They have a lot of those in rural NZ apparently.

Batches were built around a common field which became the airstrip.

Not wanting to have a house on the airfield anymore, looking for one on a recently built set of canals.

Used to be a 30 min to 40 min (50 mins if playing) flight from Ardmore.
