I must have been rather subdued the first time you met me - the F word is obligatory!! {as you found out!!}

Hi everyone, moved to NZ 8 months ago from UK to Tauranga. Finding it really hard to make friends. Husband 39 and daughter 17, out all day. Looking to make new friends, Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's quite a few of us over here that are pretty sociable - especially when there's alcohol mentioned!

Are you working or free for coffees? If you're working it'll have to be alcohol - oh the pain!

I believe Loolah, that you me and liz are whisking Julie round the Mount (for a walk) on wednesday, does that mean we can go bit slower so we can chat more, my liccle legs can't keep up sometimes !!!.

I shall be the proud owner of some go faster trainers by Wednesday as after much swearing Liz agreed to the 10KM walk/run/pub crawl on the 20th!!

Not yet, but we will know each other on wednesday when we meet.

Glad Liz was persuaded, I mean agreed whole heartedly, , does this mean i have to dust off me trainers, perhaps thats why i can't go so fast, my heels arn't cutting it are they, .

My mum has offered to sponser all of us - but at $1 per KM I told her to shove it ...

Hi All

Enjoyed the walk around the Mount, Got back and found a bloody Big blister on the side of my big toe!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice to have a laugh with you all.
So next time we will go up the Mount? "NOT"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will wear my orange, lime and pink jump suit next time!!!!!!!!!!!! and a better pair of trainers.
