Hurray - visa's arrived last week!! OH already booked flights so leaving the UK on 30th December - not quite sure if we're completely mad or what!!
Having New Year in Singapore, well as long as there's no strikes at the airports!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shall be arriving in Auckland beginning of Jan. We're not starting work till end of Jan/beginning of Feb. so having a little holiday to begin with. Now my question is where should we go on the way down to Palmy & is there anywhere we shouldn't really bother with?

Hi Sam, congratulations!! Palmy is the best place I have ever lived..mind you the last place was Northampton!!!! Been here with Kate and our very small kids X3 for getting on for 3 years now. Never been more content, for the first time in my whole life I feel happy to stay somewhere untilmy last breath. It has way exceeded all our expectations!! On the way down you must visit Rotorua, Taupo and maybe try to get up Mt Ruapheu? There are other places of interest along the way..like Gravity Canyon in Tiahape...give it a google, and the other place is Hooker Falls I think..that maybe enroute, sure other will have more ideas, please PM and I will give you our phone number so we can help with any questions. What are you guys going to be doind..do you have children, the kindies and schooling here is very good, some of the best in the country, we have LOADS to do here and a world class indoor outdoor pool complex and probablt what ids the best library in the southern hemisphere! Look forward to hearing from you!
