Paediatric nursing in new zealand
Hello,
I am a Paediatric nurse considering a move to NZ (north island) when I have my 2 years experience. I will be coming on a partnership visa.
Are there any other paeds nurses on here?
I am wondering what the differences are between nursing in NZ and the UK and how easy it is to find a job?
I know about all the requirements for registration, ielts etc.
Any tips appreciated, thank you

List of DHB websites, all will have a career section. Im a Psych nurse and found finding a job straight forward. I was already here though.
Main differencies I found was with legistation but that may be more appicable to Psych than Paeds - Im not sure.
You could have a look and the unions if your keen they will have a MECA which will list the salary increments, penals ect ect for a Paeds nurse it will be the NZNO.

Bring as much evidence with you in regard to your PDP, PDRP or whatever they call it nowadays as this can have a bearing on your level of practice to which there is a monetary value attached

Negotiate your salary - the worst they can say is no but by that time you will have a job offer so you can only win.
