Hi,

Why don't Australia and NewZealand combine their currency as Euro and EU have done so?There are always more advantages/benefits in unity/union then living independently.

Please comment???

Because currency union requires economic union and political union. Australia's politics is controlled by the US according to the BOGU protocol ("Bend over and grease up"). NZ doesn't want its foreign policy set by neocons in Washington.

If Aussie politics is controlled by US the why Australia is not considered under the treaty provisions within the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)??

Probably for the same reason that Britain isn't, they don't want to make it too obvious do they! anyway, i was under the impression that NAFTA was a Canadian led enterprise, with U.S. and Mexico direct partners?

hasnt NZ opted out of these links to Uncle Sam by dint of keeping nukes out of their waters/land mass.....
seems like a good idea --- unless they are targeted by N Korea?? :eek:
