I think that I would have taken personal control of this situation a long time ago and damn the consequences.

Ker-boom perhaps?

We did in the early days my cyber pal but were threatened , not just by the perps but also by the authorities. At one point himself nearly got lynched.

If Mr BEVS is doing community service , then no income.

It has taken a long time I suppose but we have to get the hell out of Dodge as a pal of mine back in the UK has written.

Honestly Fred. We are no wimps . We are council house kids off tough estates. There is a LOT I have not written about what happens and how it knits together.

I suppose our prob was in giving a damn about being in our lovely house and loving our garden & the location.

Get rid of that and yes , Gloves off but you will not ever be able to stay.

I think we are almost there. It about balancing what you gain with what you lose.

Brilliant. I wish there was an 'applause' emoticon.

BTW, and I've probably said this before, we've had noisy neighbours in our terraced house in Britain which was the first house we ever purchased. They were young and had their stereo blaring until the small hours then from about 6am onwards, 'silly telly' would be blaring. Then there was the inevitable weekend rows dependant on who was visiting.

It eats into your 'psych' and undermines your coping skills. It's very stressful and unfortunately it's on your mind the whole time because home is supposed to be peaceful, right ? The dread of the noises starting up can keep oneself awake when it's quiet too.

It's just awful; I really feel for you. Are you now thinking about moving on, BEVS?

Been thinking about your predicament Bev.
Have you tried the silent treatment?
Weekly top ups on your garden of untreated manure?
Untreated in terms of full power Va Voom (oh and keep your windows closed)
I found putting it out on their washing day has maximum affect

Guess what. Better weather and what do we have. The usual.

Fleck me & that is with a so-called EHO in the actual village itself. Mind you that person's partner has been less than helpful over village issues. So HoHoHo.

Y'know. People talk about a better life and all that but it really is a lottery isn't it.

Hope they don't go on too late!

T'is the season I think, we've had rotten weather today but that doesn't seem to have any bearing on the pissheads that like to party every Friday and Saturday out on the deck beside us - they currently aren't causing me too much stress and can be slightly forgiven as it's not yet bedtime but the yelling, swearing and constant wahoohing are doing my fricking head in.

I cant believe this is still going on BEVs, bit of a discredit to your local plod. My brother is in New Zealand now and he says the housing market is horrendous for buying so i imagine moving house is not as easy as people make out.
maybe you and Mr BEVS should go away for a month a Christmas help you relax over the holidays.

Fingers crossed for a sink hole below there house

I sometimes think NZ must be one of the noisiest countries in the world, the noise of traffic in the malls does my head ... why is it so noisy!
Mr Jet pack down the road from me has been testing again but it has been slightly less noisy I must admit.
I remember our first house in Kaiapoi was horrendous for the noise carrying from the neighbours constant partying, booming bass vibrating through the ground, it didn't help that we were so close to them that we could hear them flush the toilet I suppose!
Even on ten acres we had the neighbours dog driving us crazy with it's woofing all day until we had a word and the dog seems to have got better with age now anyways.
Hope it's all quiet again now BEVS intrusive constant noise is a form or torture isn't it!
When I worked dairying and had to block out my own families noise to be able to get to sleep for early morning shifts I used to plug my earphones in and go to sleep with nice calming downloads of nature and stuff. I know it's not ideal but maybe rather than going slowly demented try that from time to time.
