It's mentals really & when it's peaceful and beautiful , like now, it almost makes me giggle. The idea of a 70 something running amok, pissed as a fart in the wee small hours of a Wednesday night with daughters & school age grandsons in hot pursuit.

The old 'muvver' who is one of those partying & is in her 70's
A neighbour up the road had the old bag banging on her door at 1.30 am one night , drunk as a skunk , not knowing where she was. Police had to sort it out with her equally rat-faced daughters. This was a Wednesday night.
I totally 'get it' about them shouting loudly so they can hear each other.

This is a bit of a follow on from the anti social noise thread but right now I am so embarrassed about where we live. The attitudes. The behaviour and,of course, tonight , the anti-social noise, drunk screeching from the family and their extended family next door. Then there is the attitude of the on-call bloke for noise - a call centre in ...............Blemheim ! Rather nasty unfortunate man that has clearly never had to put up with this. Didn't take too kindly to his latest racial remarks either.

lol. The deaf old neighbour did the chain-saw thing early one morning. Only prob with all that is that they don't hear it because they are probably out cold and it would hack off other surrounding neighbours ( who don't border the property) who then may end up calling noise control

I'm can't help feeling you are enjoying wallowing in this misery a bit BEVS.
We too have problems with noise, between the birds chirping joyfully and cicada making that zip noise the wildlife is ruining this country.
