This is probably going to sound dumb, but I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this.

From other threads I've read on this Forum you have to complete details for extended family.

In both my parent's case: my mother's parents are both deceased. My father's mother is also deceased and he never had any contact with his father...we don't even know who he is/was.

The extended family is generally 'steps'...my mother was born during the first marriage...all her sisters and brothers came from her mother's second marriage.

The last relatives on my mother's side that we had any time for died within the last four years...they were my great aunt and great uncle.

So where do you draw the line?

My closest relatives are my parents and my sister.

Will it be OK to only mention them?

I'll give it a look and see what I can figure out.

I assume they just want info about extended family to help them establish that you are who you say you are.

Just read the link you gave and it seems to be you list the folks who might want to have you sponser them at a later date.

Cool. I'm happy to sponser my immediate relos if needed.
