Original marriage certificate
I'm considering citizenship and apparently I will need my original marriage certificate from my first marriage.
I haven't got mine, seeing as I tore it up into confetti and threw it at the ex, so where would I get one ??

Re: Original marriage certificate
I only suggested the divorce papers as from memory think I didn't have my first wedding cert for visa but they accepted the divorce papers, but as others had said sure its fairly easy to get a copy

I lost mine and had to order a replacement. It took 3-4 weeks and I think cost £15. I could have fast tracked it for £35, but had to wait for my police check anyway.

Re: Original marriage certificate
Was that to a UK address. It seems to be around £35 just for postage overseas. Unless I'm reading it wrong

If you were married in England or Wales then you can simply order another certified copy online from the GRO. If you’re having it sent to NZ then it’s advisable to pay for the priority service as it will be sent by DHL rather than the cheapest postal option available.
