Hi all,
I was born in NZ and now live in UK with partner and children. We now want to move back to NZ. We all have NZ passports/permanent residency so no worries there.
She is a teacher so could find work but I am struggling to find answers for my job.
I completed a Level 3 apprenticeship with BT Openreach and am a fully qualified telecommunications technician with 4 years experience. I mostly do fibre work at the minute. My qualifications don’t appear to transfer as I’ve been in touch with a few recruiters who haven’t liked the look of my cv. The vacancies I have found don’t offer me anymore money than I am already paid to compensate for the higher cost of living in NZ.
Has anyone had a similar role and moved over to NZ?
Chorus website isn’t helpful and never has any vacancies listed.
