Up to now..........Spice girls are getting back together and are doing a one off gig especially for the closing ceremony. Plus 1D, Pet Shop Boys and George Michael.

I thought Blur were doing the closing.

Paul Mc/Elton/Cliff etc are now over the hill judging from the Golden Jubilee bash. Most acts just go on far too long.

My daughter was rehearsing near Dagenham the other day, she saw Muse, Brian May, Jessie (someone),George Michael and Tiny Tempah, The Spice Girls and probably a few others I've forgotten. :o

It was fantastic, loved it mostly. Could've done without the Spice Girls myself. Loved Darcey Bussell:thumbup:. Well done to Gary Barlow for a brave performance, my heart went out to him.

I thought it was great, the music covered just about all genres so there was something for everyone, even Freddie
mercury made an appearance.
If the section from the Rio contingent was anything to go off I'm not holding my breath for the Brazil ceremony
being anything but amazon Indians and carnival Samba music and costumes
