Will be in NZ prob Oct - March I consult/manage alternative energy projects and was actually thinking of adding CH to the menu so to speak, do you think it would really be worth getting into residential new build / retro fit CH as well?

Yes, if you can afford to do it. I haven't a clue as to the costs, but if you can do it for a reasonable cost and if it makes your home more comfy, go for it.

+12 C is not freezing!! I was out in shorts and t-shirt today, although Junta del JAFA was a barmy +16C. I'm a lancastrian!!
