Oh I really miss !!!!!!

Is there anything you miss from England (apart from family and friends), that you can't get in NZ or it's just not the same. Like certain foods (mums Sunday roast), drinks or special places etc, etc.

Bell peppers that don't cost a fortune! And maybe Frulli (Dutch strawberry beer = delicious!), although it could be in NZ but I haven't seen it yet! Apart from that not too much :-) You?

At the mo we are in the, hoping to move out next year (still in the process of applying for perm visa). so I guess I cannot answer that yet, would just like to know what expats are missing.

I love hot Vimto on a really cold day not sure if they have it, or Heinz tomatoe soup.

Same situation with us! We are in England at the moment and looking at coming out early 2013 once visas have come through and maybe job offers.

We were in NZ for 7 weeks over Christmas so I've based my answer on that rather than living there. To be honest you'll find most things in NZ supermarkets. We self catered whilst in NZ and didn't struggle or miss things too much. There will be Heinz (I think it goes under a different name which I've forgotten), not too sure about Vimto though but I'm sure there will be something similar!

How are you getting on with your visa process?

The price of beer, Barnsley Football Club, digital radio, cable TV, Asda, northern humour and decent clothes shops.

Before the happy clappers start, the list of stuff I don't miss is huge.

Lol, we're not in NZ yet but OH would be interested to know what name Heinz trades under...is it Watties...very distant memory of them looking suspiciously like Heinz baked beans...the tin and packaging...not the actual beans!!
