what a pointless waste of time for those involved, for those tasked with controlling these idiots and how annoying for anyone inconvenienced by this stupid act.

Interesting that there is no interest here and it is hardly in the news. Nothing in the Herald about 2000 people gathering in Auckland. Whether you agree with it or not, isn't this news?
Similar global events have been reported on the BBC World News and they even interviewed an Auckland protester. I have also seen reports on several UK newspaper websites. I wonder why the NZ media doesn't seem interested.

Muppets like that need a good old slap, so they want to protest against how governments run countries and how money is spent, so what do these supposed 2000 people actually do fo ra living? while they put on a futile and stupid protest my hard earned tax money is goint to the extra police drafted in to ensure it is kept trouble free, so in effect they are actually causing extra money to be spent on policing this taking it away from other potential areas

Re: Occupy Auckland - Anyone going?
Its been all over the radio this week and in the papers.
Maybe its because its not a "kiwi" event that the media arent bothered.
if the local Iwi were involved they'd be all over it
Little old NZ doesnt generally give a toss about what happens outside its borders
