another repeat question proberbly:confused:sorry can anyone tell me what the realistic timescale for qualification assesment is and the approx costs thanks:thumbsup:

We sent ours off two months ago and have been told it's in a queue and might be started on next week!! The cost which they took also two months ago was $486.00 which included the return fee (about £200).

The NZQA are terrible :mad:Luckily we only had to have the pre-lim assessment, we didn't to have the full assessment where we sent everything off to them. Even with the pre-lim they took 2 weeks longer than quoted on their website. Also when we phoned them up they told us it would get done that day but still no answer for another week...nightmare, the worst part of immigration. Good luck with them, I hope they get their act together!

Hi,

I sent my quallifications off mid feb, recieved 28th, rung this week, still in que, but should be getting done in next bunch.

I mentioned that we are in nz from 28th april, to get job offer, Then reply, i'll speak to team leader to get done quicker. I'm poping into wellington, i may well pay them a visit.

Cost £205, done nothing for over a month.

Melanie's took about 6-8 weeks but after she called them it magically appeared a few days later.

Well, I paid an extra NZD150 to speed up the process...as they said they have a look to your application within 10 days...Did you hear something from them? I mean...do they email you saying that they've got your documents and they are in the process of assessing them?...Can you get temporal registration with NZTC before NZQA finishes its job? :huh:
