Default Nzqa, Payroll And Teachers

Hi to any teachers out there.

I've had my NZQA back and would like to know this:

My NZQA has put me at level 7, which is the basic level for primary teachers.

I've been told that I should then be put onto level 11 by payroll due to the fact that I've been working for 5 years - ie paid according to my experience.

Did this happen to you?

I hope so!

Please answer soon!

All the best, Sue.

This could easily be true as NZQA and teaching are two completely different agencies. NZQA is notoriously 'mean' in its assessments whereas if you get a teaching job they will pay you according to your experience & ability.
