Default NZIS and Dept of Labour indicators of Skill Shortages.

Following on from the concerns raised over the immediate v long term skill shortages lists I became interested to find out more about the criteria used when deciding the lists.
I already know something of the analytical methods employed but others may also be interested.

So far I have found this.

Dept of Labour indicators of Skill Shortages.

and also this

Occupational Review Shortages doc
which was 2006 but i doubt the methodology has changed

It explains some of the Labour Dept criteria but not all of the NZIS criteria which may be somewhere in its operations manual.
