Default NZ Project Jonah news and updates - Pod of Dolphins - Oneroa Bay , Waiheke Island

Per this LINK

We have just received a report of a pod of dolphins in Oneroa Bay on Waiheke. Unfortunately it appears that several local children in kayaks and dinghys are placing themselves between the pod and the open water. A few of our volunteers are heading there now to help remind people to keep their distance and stay safe. PLEASE, remember that these are wild animals and there are specific guidelines around being in and on the water with them.
