I feel a bit sorry for you tweetweet. It's the weekend yet it seems you have nothing better to do other than post snide and unfounded comments in the NZ forum. Have you nothing better to do other than a bit of trolling?

Re: NZ is a popular destination for British Expats
Actually, I remember reading something in a newspaper somewhere (if I could find it on google I'd post it) that said that a very high percentage of Brit Expats (somewhere around the 75% mark) are still in NZ after 10 years.
And from what I can tell from surveys you can google, a high percentage of Brits are happy with their move to NZ and intend to stay. |

Re: NZ is a popular destination for British Expats
Unfortunately Tweetweet has relayed her experience of NZ in a frankly unbelievable series of statements of catastrophes and personal tragedy.
From what I understand this includes her moving to Marlborough, got a good job, was then persecuted out of said job for being English, was "forced" to buy a house, been conned out of money, brushed her teeth with baking soda, then moaned about dental cost, having left her good job was then unable to find any work in NZ's region of lowest unemployment, then there was the drugging incident. Now I suspect there is a small grain of truth hidden amongst all of this, but what sympathy I had has been eroded by a "crazy cat lady" persona. Tweetweet, I hope you new life in wherever you are, brings you a sense of peace and happiness (and toothpaste). |

Re: NZ is a popular destination for British Expats
I do have some sympathy for Tweetweet as been in some of the same positions but in the UK. But I would not use that in un associated threads like "what is housing like"
If the posts where relevant to OP's questions then yes it is valid to post but none of them seem to be and if they could loosely be TweetTweet is not backing up with details as to why the comments are valid. As I have pointed out no one is going to go through members profile to read all their posts. If TweetTweet has not seeked counselling for the experiences I suggest it is sort, helped me no end and if counselling was sort then it needs to be returned to or continued as obviously not doing much good yet. |
