Nz Plugs
Hi,
can anybody help... Does anybody no where I can purchase the New Zealand plugs in the UK.. We want to get ahead if poss and start changing some plugs before we ship our stuff....

Easier & cheaper to but loads of travel adaptors, they work fine.

if you are going to take that approach buy them in the uk as they are about $15 a pop in nz.
a cautionary note - electrical plugs/sockets in the uk are designed for stability and safety and are very secure when correctly seated. the same cannot be said for plugs in other parts of the world, including nz - in fact they can be positively flaky when plugged in.
a lot of the plugs you will find have "piggy back" sockets built into them to allow stacking of multiple plugs on top of one another.
if you plug a uk plug into a uk > nz adapter - especially where there is a heavy power adapter thrown into the mix - you can end up with a lof of weight pulling down on the NZ socket - which can easily result in exposed live surfaces.....
if you have kids, i would strongly advise rewiring to nz plugs.
