Hi we are looking for advice where to get medicals undertaken in the Midlands, i have noticed that the price can vary quite a bit.

I (Nick) have recently received and offer from NZTA and would like to pursue the role but need to get an idea of what things are going to cost.

We had our medicals in London, £300 each. NZ Immigration website will have a list of registered Doctors they accept. With regards to other expenses ....
House move - quotes from Pickfords and Britannia, approx £3000 (3 bed house + motorbike)
Dogs - approx £4000 (inc vet fees and NZ kennels)
One way ticket for 2 - £1780

enz.org is a good website to work out your income and expenses.

We started looking at NZ April 2013, finally fly out October 2014. Good luck.

Hi Nick,

We recently had ours done n Stoke. Chest X-rays were done at Newcastle under Lyme hospital, and then our bloods and medicals were done at a doctors surgery in Hanford.

It was about £700 in total for the 2 of us. Ouch!!

The is a list of approved panel doctors and radiologists on the immigration website. Chek that out and give few closest to you a call for pricing.

Hi guys, for the chest X-rays we were thinking of going to have ours done at the Spire Birmingham, but ended up having them done in the Spire Cardiff, but they were very good, fast and was £99 per adult. Best to ring around as the prices are all over the place! Our medicals were £240 per adult and £80 for our 18month old baby. hope this helps and good luck :0)

We got ours with dr Kelly in Northampton although he covers the midlands. 320 for adults. 90 for kids. Northampton hospital X-rays 54 each. This was this year
