NZ (Kapiti Coast) Newbie

Hi Guys,

We moved to Paraparaumu in January 09 and have been here now about 7 weeks. Be great to get the low down on the area and the Kapiti Coast if anyone can help. It's still early days for me.

I'm not working so if anyone would like to meet for a coffee, give me a shout. I am enjoying the weather, the life, etc but finding making friends hard due to not being at work or having children (meeting parents through school etc).

Welcome I meet most of my friends on the forums and a good friend at open home.
It is a small world or should I say Paraparaumu is getting many of us all here:eek:
We love it and there is always plenty going on at the Kapiti coast

Thanks for your message.

Yeah it would be great to meet for a coffee and a chat sometime. I think you feel isolated when you first arrive and it just takes a bit of chat and banter to help you settle in. I do like a good natter and a good coffee. :thumbsup:
