As previously discussed, the NZ IRD are introducing changes to the way UK Pension savings and transfers are taxed for NZ residents. The vast majority of peeps who I grew old with saw their private company pensions robbed and subsequently are now receiving 90% of their original payout from the Pensions Protection Fund so will be tied to the UK.

Don't forget to allow time for the transfer to be completed. Some pensions can be transferred within 30 days, most are within 60 days but pensions such as NHS, Police and Teachers can take 3 - 6 months.

Don't leave it to the last minute!!
