NZ class 1 licence

Just returned from VINZ and now the proud owner of a NZ learners light vehicle licence. The lady behind the counter was puzzled having to check 3 times that I was applying for a car licence aged 35 and kept referring back to my bike licence. Confused was not the word.
So now I'm legal to drive (under supervision) I can completely forget the road code. 2 sec rule on dry roads becomes 30cm rule, 4 sec rule on wet roads becomes 15cm rule and so on.
Happy days. :)
