NZ Chat rooms

Can anyone tell me if there are any "realtime" chat rooms to speak to other people?

All I can find is IRC chat..

We have a chat room facility here on BE.

You could try PMing some of the folks on this board and arrange to meet them in the BE chat room or maybe set up a thread inviting people to chat here at a certain date/time.
